Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, Cara Clatanoff graduated from Tulane University in New Orleans in 2014 with a BA in Environmental Studies and minors in Spanish and Latin American Studies. Most recently, Cara has spent two and a half years in Peru with Canadian-Peruvian non-profit Mosqoy’s Andean Youth Program, which provides post-secondary scholarships and leadership programming to high-achieving students from Quechua communities in the Cusco region. Her favorite things are taking in the view on top of a mountain, dancing salsa, and eating a plate of tamales at her favorite New Mexican restaurant with her family. She is looking forward to an incredible summer on the Road Less Traveled!
